Big Update :)

Wow… I haven’t posted in a lil over 6 months… that’s insane! I was never like that, I always posted before…

Well a LOT has changed in the past 6 months..
Let’s start with the biggest change.. At the beginning of January I found out that I was pregnant! Yup! Now Blake & I weren’t planning for this little blessing but we have taken it as just that, a blessing & we are so ecstatic now! I am now 17 weeks & 3 days along, so almost halfway done already! We also recently found out that we are having a girl & we are so beyond excited!
So far, my pregnancy has been really easy going.. I’ve been one of the lucky ones I do believe. Hardly had morning sickness.. Just dealt with being tired a lot but other then that…nothing too bad. Especially now that I’m in the second trimester, things are even easier.. I do have pains occasionally from my growing stomach and really tired in the afternoons but other then that it’s all going good! Haven’t felt her move yet but hoping to feel her soon!
My next appointment is May 8th & I’ll be getting another ultrasound so we’ll get to see her again & can’t wait!

Another big things… around the same time we found out that i was pregnant, Blake got a great job offer from his dad.. Needless to say, he took it. It was the best decision for us. SO we packed up & moved down to Topeka, Kansas on March 2nd! So far we really like it here! Much warmer, people here are super friendly, & works not that bad… (He’s running 1 of the Taco Johns that his dad owns & I’m working as a shift manager at the store) Although, I do really truly miss being a nanny. However, I figured not many people would want to hire a pregnant nanny for the summer so I just accepted that and started working in the store. It’s not THAT bad..but I really miss working with kids…
But it’s okay :)

So that’s the biggest update on my life! I’m going to try to be better & post more…. BUT we don’t have internet yet but I can post from my phone I suppose… but that’s a lot of typing on a phone :P Haha!
Oh well :)

Oh, also, as of April 8th Blake & I have been together a year & 1/2! SO hard to believe! But SO very happy as well! Things are going great :) Still very much in love with him! He’s such an amazing man!

Other then that… guess not too much to say… just thought I’d write a little to update y’all on my life!

Going After My Dream :)

Have you ever had a dream? Something you really truly wanted to try or go for? Well, here’s my advice… Do it. Go for it. I’m doing just that! I’ve always had a true passion for photography! Ever since I was a little girl I’ve LOVED taking pictures; and lots of them! For the past year or so my mother has told me how good I am at photography and has encouraged me to go for it and I’m doing just that! :)

I am starting up my own photography business! Sue’s Photography is going to be the same of it! So far, I’ve gotten a good start! Got a NICE, new camera, good photo-shop program, and ordered a new screen for my laptop! I also had my first session, yesterday! So far, so good!
I also have 3 more sessions booked ALREADY! :) Wow! I can’t believe how well things are already going and how fast they’re taking off! I am SO excited to continue doing something I truly love <3

So, for now on… if you have a dream, go for it. Do it!!!
If I can do it, so can you!

I am truly SO blessed to have Blake by my side when I go to sleep at night & when I wake up in the morning. I know this to be VERY true. I honestly could NEVER imagine being away from Blake for more then a day… I don’t think I could do it honestly. It’d be far too hard for me. I pray for those who have to go through that & praise them for having the strength to do so!

I thank God every single day for bringing this amazing man into my life & letting him be mine forever <3

I can’t wait for the day he gets down on 1 knee & asks me to be his wife.
I can’t wait to enjoy the engagement while planning our amazing wedding!
I can’t wait for the day we finally get to say ‘I do’ & begin our married life!
I can’t wait for our first child to be born.
I can’t wait to hear that child call him ‘daddy’
I can’t wait to have more children after the first ;)
I can’t wait to see our child/children grow up & we teach them life lessons, together!
I can’t wait to send our child/children off to college
I can’t wait to retire together.
I can’t wait to grow old together..
I can’t wait to live the rest of our lives together (: Day after day…. Side by side…

Blake is truly the love of my life! He makes me laugh when I don’t even want to smile. He can make me laugh so hard that I cry! He brings out the best in me. He makes me SO SO SO SO SO happy! :)) He lets me, be me!
I don’t know how I got so lucky but I do know everything happens for a reason (: Thank you God!

My Rant For The Night...

Okay, so you know that moment when you decide to be nice and be like, “Yeah, that’s okay with me. I think it’ll work out just fine.” But in your head, there’s that little voice saying, “DON’T do it!”
Yeah, well maybe I should listen to that voice more often? Yup, I most def should!

Well, this is what happened…
When we decided to move out of the house we were living in with the horrible roommates & Brad; I told Blake I really wanted to get an apartment for just the 2 of us. Which he accepted the idea… then we were looking at places he told me Brad had talked to him saying that he didn’t want to intrude but if we would want to get a 2 bedroom with him he’d really appreciate it.
So, I said, yeah that’s okay with me. When really, it wasn’t.

It has gotten to the point where I honestly want him to move out. He drinks my drinks, eats our food, leaves the seat up in the bathroom - nasty!, and NEVER cleans up after himself. Like EVER.
Also, my cat, Kiki HATES Brad. I don’t blame her really… So, yes she attacks him occasionally but he also antagonizes her to do so. But he’ll sit there and scream at her, chase her with a broom, threaten her, or stomp his feet at her… So I have to lock her up in the bedroom which I SHOULDN’T have to do. It pisses me off.

It’s gotten to the point where I WANT him to move out, for good. When Blake gets home from work tonight, some ground rules are going to be laid down for Brad. And if they don’t start getting followed he’s going bye-bye as far as I’m concerned.

Okay, I guess I’m done with my rant for the night.

Ahhh, I haven’t posted in over a month! I’ve just been sooo crazy busy ever since I started my nanny job!

Well since posting last..
I started my nanny job!
I turned 21 - w00t w00t! God that was quite the night!
The state fair came & went.. but it was fun to go!
Been going out to the bars or casino on the weekends every so often now!
Gone boating a few times while we still can!
And just been busy working, keeping the apartment clean, and living life (:

Anyways,
As for my new job as a nanny I LOVE it! It’s truly such a rewarding/amazing job! I work Tues-Friday (Yes that’s it!) I have Sat, Sun, & Mon off - it’s awesome! It makes for early/long days but I’m home before 6pm every day though! During the summer I had all the kids but now that school’s started the 2 older children are gone from 8-3:30 so I only have them the last hour or so… So it’s just me and the 2 youngest kids most of the day.. they are 2 years old & 10 months & are the cutest lil things! :) We go on a morning walk when I get there, then play a little bit, have lunch, then it’s nap time (AHHH LOVE NAP TIME!), then after they get up from their nap we play outside or inside, depends while waiting on the older 2 to get home :) It’s a great job, and I LOVE it!

As for the new apartment…
Living with Blake & Brad has been going well! It’s frustrating cleaning up after the boys but they’re both starting to get better about helping. Blake’s been doing the laundry on his week days off while I’m at work :) & he does the dishes a lot after we eat! As for Brad, he’s starting to clean up after himself in the kitchen some of the time.. sigh.. he’s working on it! Haha! But life is good! :)

Oh this coming weekend is going to be busy busy busy… On Friday after Blake gets off work at like 8, we are going to drive to my moms, get there at like 11:15! :/ Then on Saturday we have a family reunion for my stepdads side of the family (there’s going to be over 70 people there!) I know Blake is just going to love meeting everyone! Haha :P Then after that busy day, staying the night at my moms again, then on Sunday up nice & early to head to my dads for the day to see him, Regina, & my 2 lil brothers Landon & Levi.. Then I don’t know if we’re going to stay the night there Sunday or just come back to Ankeny..? Either way it’s going to be a busyyyyy weekend! :/

Well, that’s my update for now I guess! I promise I’ll update more! :)

Update On My Life! (:

Well, I must say, life is goooood! :)

We got completely moved into our new apartment!! On Tuesday I moved mostly all the boxes by myself :P (Blake had to work!) Then on Wed morning one of my co-workers helped me & Blake move the rest! The bed, the dresser, tv stand, tvs… So Wed night we were able to sleep in our new place! :)

We LOVEEE it!! Having our own place is simply amazing! We haven’t eaten out once since we moved in! :) We cook supper together every night :) It’s so nice!

And Kiki LOVES it! She loves running around the apartment, greeting us at the front door when we come home, and exploring! :)
BUT the first day we were here I found her in the kitchen sink… what a silly kitty! Also, when we ran the dishwasher for the first time she was freaking out! Haha… she sat there batting at it; it was so funny! :)

Anyways, life is good in the new place :)

However, work… eh not so much… Me & the other assistant manager have been getting disrespected like no other lately! It’s been ridiculous! And we’re both SO done with it! She’s already got another job & I do too.

I’m going to be a nanny :) I went and met with a family yesterday and they loved me so they offered it to me! They have 4 kids! :) At first I’ll be watching all 4, but then when school starts just 2 of them all day then all of them after 3 so shouldn’t be too bad! I’m really excited!
ANDDDDD, the mom, she runs 2 Subways and said if I wanted to work there some also for extra money I’m more then welcome, so I’m going to do that like 3 times a week as well, might as well since I’m over there! (it’s like a 45 min drive from Ankeny!) But it’s gonna be well worth it! I’ll be making more in one week doing this then what I make in two weeks in what I’m doing now! :)

Other then that… life’s good! :)
Last night, Blake & I went to Summerfest & watched the fireworks so that was nice :)
And today, he’s at work and I’m being lazy for the first time in awhile :P Then going to unpack a little bit more and then making supper for Blake for when he gets home :)

Needless to say, I love my life, I love Blake, and I have never been happier! :)

YESSSSS WE DID!!!!!! :)

We went and paid the deposit tonight & got the keys to our new apartment! :) I’m soooooooo veryyyy excited! :) We’re going to start moving some stuff tomorrow! :) & hope to be moved in by the weekend? :P We’ll see though!

But I just wanted to inform y’all we got the apartment! :)

I’m excited! I’ll let y’all know how the moving goes :P haha! Wish us luck? :P

GOOD NEWSSSSSS! :)

We got approved for an apartment! Yup! Me, Blake & Brad are going on Monday night to pay the deposit and get the paperwork filled out & will hopefully be moved in by next weekend! I am SOOOO excited! :) We’ll finally have our own place, well the 3 of us will.. Lol.. Oh well! No more extra roommates! Well, other then Brad. Lol.. It’s okay though cuz it’ll make rent and bills cheaper for awhile :)

I’m really excited also because it’s close to work too! So I can walk sometimes to help save a little gas! :) Yay! Hahahah!

Uhmm well I guess that’s all for now! :) I’m just super excited! I’ll def write about how things go after Monday! :)

It's Been Awhile, Opps!

I haven’t written on here in awhile, shame on me :(

Just been busy with life I guess? :/ Oppsie! Well, Blake & I were going to be moving to Salina, KS because his dad and mom bought into 2 restaurants but we decided against it. Because, in the long run it wouldn’t of worked out the best for us so we’re staying in Ankeny for now! :)

We went and looked at a few apartments so me and him and his brother Brad can get a place together. I’m sick of living in this house with the other people we live with. Can’t stand it anymore..

We found a good place and put in our applications for it on Saturday. PRAYING they call us today :/

Anyways, other then that… just living life, working away… And loving life with Blake of course! This Sunday will be 9 months for us <3 Almost to a year, hard to believe! :) I couldn’t be happier!

I’m getting burnt working at food places though.. like don’t get me wrong, I love the people at Papa Murphy’s and the job isn’t all that bad I guess… But I’m tired of it. I’m trying to get into being a nanny. I know it’s something that I would actually love to do! I’ve been looking on websites online and applying to nanny positions. PRAYING for a reply from 1 of the families. We’ll see I guess… :/

Nothing else new really.. Just looking for a new place & possibly a new job.. Blahhh! :P

I guess I’ll try to post more? :P

Goodness gracious.. My bad.. Haven’t posted for awhile.. again :/ Shame on me :( Well, I have good news.. no great news.. no LIFE changing news! :)

I believe I have found my birth mother. Yup. That’s right I think I FINALLY FOUND HER!!!! (:

I’ve been doing a lot of digging and what not lately & I now know that her birthday is October 18th, she graduated from high school in 1988 (I even know where she went to school and found a pic of her in a yearbook online!), she graduated from college in 1994 (I know where she went to college as well), she married in 1998 & had a lil boy in 2001 and a lil girl in 2004! Which means I have a lil half brother & sister out there!!! IF it is her :) But I believe it is! It’s so exciting, scary, nerve racking, exhilarating, all at the same time! I even have her address and phone number now too <3

Now, just to grow some guts and CALL HER and find out for 100% that it’s her! But, it’s just gotta be. It all fits!

Anyways, I just had to write this lil update! :) I gotta shower and get ready for work soon.. Now to just deliberate when to call and what to say.. Hmmm… wish me luck eh? ;/ :) :D

Happy May Day one & all :) Well since it’s the beginning of May and the weather’s getting nicer & nicer out so I have decided the time has come for me to try for a healthier lifestyle!

I started today… I’m not drinking any pop whatsoever, going to start running again & exercising, and eating healthier! :) I decided to do so to better myself and my body! So here’s how it’s going so far… NO Pop so far today AND I went for a run this morning.. about 25 min long. And for supper going to eat something healthy. I must say, I’m proud of myself for making this decision because I know it’ll make me feel better about myself in more then 1 way. My body will not only look great but I know I’ll feel great as well!

Therefore wish me luck ehh?? (: Cuz I know that it’ll be a lil tough because I’ve been drinking pop for so long, eat more fast food then I should, && I haven’t exercised for awhile. But I can do it :) I know I can! Time to go see if I can find some good blogs with advice and perhaps even some yummy healthy recipes! :)

I'm Gonna Do It; I'm Gonna Write A Book! :)

Yup ladies & gents, that’s correct, I’m going to do it… I’m gonna write a book! :)

It’s honestly always been in the back of my mind to do so and also on my Bucket List but last night I finally decided I’m going to actually do it. What brought this up you may ask??

Well, as you may know my boyfriend Blake, & I have been together for almost 7 months now and I’m always writing him little notes and even longer letters at times. Just 2 days ago I wrote him a letter to read when he got home.. Then last night as we were getting ready to shower and get ready to go out he told me that he thinks I should do something that involves writing.. His mom agrees. Cuz I guess they were on the phone talking, and Blake was telling her how amazing my writings were. Last night when we were talking about it, he told me how every time he reads what I’ve written he’s blow away at how amazing it is. Hearing that from someone that I love so much, is such a great feeling. So, I’m going to do it.

What’s it going to be about? I’m not 100% sure. How long will it take? I don’t know that either. All I do know, is that I can and WILL do it :) I mean, I can sit here typing/rambling for hours on end, why not put my creative thoughts/ideas out there and give it a try right? Well, wish me luck. Time to brain storm and perhaps start a outline and come up with characters, thoughts, plots, beginnings & endings :)

Here it goesssssss…… :)
